Bearcats Chase Olympic Dream

6/25/2008 - Former Bearcats Mary (Danner) Wineberg, David Payne, Ashley Wilhelm and Renee Hein and current student-athlete Josh Schneider will compete at the United States Olympic Trials in the coming weeks in their respective sports. Wineberg and Payne will be in Eugene, Ore., for the USA Track and Field trials, while Schneider will participate in the USA Swimming trials in Omaha, Neb. (more)

Carda, Schneider Compete at 2008 Toyota Grand Prix

4/5/2008 - University of Cincinnati swimming standouts Jakub Carda and Josh Schneider finished fifth in the 400 IM and 50 freestyle, respectively, at the 2008 US Swimming Toyota Grand Prix Series event at Ohio State's McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Saturday (April 5). (more)

Schneider Competes In NCAA Championships

3/31/2008 - University of Cincinnati sophomore Josh Schneider (Cincinnati, OH/Taylor) couldn't duplicate his early success in the 2008 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, coming up short in the 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly during the preliminary rounds. Schneider's time of 43.53 in the 100 freestyle placed him in 25th position. The mark broke the school-record of 44.08 that he set previously in the 2008 BIG EAST Championships. (more)
