Former Bearcat Wineberg Qualifies for 400-meter Finals at U.S. Olympic Trials

7/1/2008 - After winning her second straight heat last night at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., former University of Cincinnati track star Mary Wineberg has qualified for the finals of the 400 meters. Her time of 50.57 in last night's semifinal heat was the fastest among all finalists. (more)

Bearcats Chase Olympic Dream

6/25/2008 - Former Bearcats Mary (Danner) Wineberg, David Payne, Ashley Wilhelm and Renee Hein and current student-athlete Josh Schneider will compete at the United States Olympic Trials in the coming weeks in their respective sports. Wineberg and Payne will be in Eugene, Ore., for the USA Track and Field trials, while Schneider will participate in the USA Swimming trials in Omaha, Neb. (more)
